Money spent on Books

The following graph that we are going to show you next, it’s about the money spent on books, in developed countries of Europe. Specifically, the graph shows us the money spent in $US dollars (millions) in Germany, France, Italy and Austria, since 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 until 2005. As an overall picture, we can see Germany (light green line) in a privileged position; regarding to the other countries we can see Germany as the country that has spent the most money on books since 1995 until 2005. For example, in 1995 Germany invested $80 million dollars in contrast with Austria (dark green line), country that invested only $30 million dollars in the same year. We can also say that the situation of Germany in 1995 went up slightly, from $80 million dollars to $90 million dollars in 1999. Then, since that year we can observe a faintly decrease until reaching to $85 million dollar until 2003, but until the year 2005, the expenditure went back to rise steadily until the $95 million
