A country i would like to visit: United Kingdom, one of my dream places!

Who does not love to travel and immerse themselves in new realities?
Hi everyone! I’m Valentina, I’m 20 years old and I live in Chile. As a future anthropologist/archaeologist I would like to visit many places and countries, as a way to learn and see different cultures. But, since I was a child, I have been dream about to know United Kingdom. You will wonder why U.K? I think, this is one of the most interesting countries to meet in Europe. I have heard many interesting things of U.K, besides; i’ve seen a lot of movies and tv series produced there. Therefore, I’m especially interested about the culture, the architecture (especially their palaces, parks, and the ancient aspect of some places), the archaeological ruins and the music! English music is the best.

If I ever go to United Kingdom, I would like to know London, the Hyde Park, the Buckingham Palace, museums, and other attractive touristic places. Abovef all, I would love to go a concert of my favorite bands; Blur and Radiohead.  I’m also interested in meeting people because i've heard from other people that Europeans are very angry and different from us, besides as anthropologist i would love to know new realities.
I think U.K is a place where you can do what you want. So, I would definitely love to live and work there, in places like "Stonehenge" or something like a museum.
If I had to choose, I would definitely choose United Kingdom, a place of dreams and exquisite culture and literature, that as an anthropologist, I would never miss it.

The best concert i've been to: Blur

For me, music is an important part of my life,  i've been in many concerts, in fact, the last concert that i went, was in March of this year.  If i had to talk about "The best concert i've been to" i couldn't make just one choice, it's so difficult to me because i've been in the concerts of my favourite band's and singer! However, today i'm going to talk you about my first concert of my favourite band ever.  One of my very best concert experience was seeing "Blur" for the first time in Santiago on November of 2013. Post 5: My Future Job

Think about the future is a thing that doesn’t work so much for me… As you know, today I’m an anthropologist student, so I guess that my future job will be guided in this particular line. Although i’m not 100% sure of what major subject I’m going to choose (Social Anthropology or Archaeology) I would like to imagine a job where I can be “free”. In others words,   work outdoors, out of the city, perhaps   with communities of people, having an impact in their lives and help them and contribute to "create a better world to live". I wouldn’t like an academic job where I’ll spend all day in an office behind a computer, I would like to be with different types of communities or investigate extinct societies. As I said, I can’t choose between Social Anthropology or Archaeology because I’m interested in both specialties, if it were possible to do both things at the same time, I would do it!... Post 7: Wild animals and pets

Hi everyone! In today's post, i would like to talk about wild animals and pets. First of all, i want to ask you something, do you consider yourself an animal lover? why? If you had asked me this cuestion a few years ago -five years ago probably- i probably woud have answered "not so much". You will wonder why i used to think that way? This is because, when i was a kid i never had a pet. I used to play with my cousin's dog but one day, he bit me really hard, so from that time i was very afraid about dogs and animals in general.  But now, if you ask me that, i definitely consider myself as an animal lover! I'm saying this because i met some people, like my boyfriend, who's open their heart to show me their pets and it was a beautiful and magic oportunity to me.
